Description
Rural Capacity Building 2016-2017 (ASUF 30004881) Rural Capacity Building 2016-2017 Since 2009, ASU has partnered with Freeport McMoRan, building the capacity of nonprofit organizations in selected communities and helped them achieve sustainability through a series of offerings. This partnership has continued to evolve to best address the needs of the communities with the resources available. This application seeks funding for four components: 1) A Project Development training/workshop in 9 communities, 2) a Topical training/workshop in each community (topics to vary dependent on community need, 3) 300 hours of technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, and 4) three CIF trainings (Globe/Miami, Greenlee and one Colorado site.
