Rationale Design of 3-D Nano-Scaffolds For Engineered POP Soft Tissue Repair Rationale Design of 3-D Nano-Scaffolds For Engineered POP Soft Tissue Repair Primary Cell Culture Primary cell cultures will be prepared and maintained in the laboratories of ASU investigators Massia and Pizziconi. Dr. Massia will oversee cell culture activities in the ASU labs. . Viable biopsy tissues will be transported to ASU for cell isolation and cultivation. Dextran (Dex)--poly acrylic acid (PAA) and Dex-- hyaluronic acid (HA) Nanofiber Scaffold Preparation Nanofiber scaffold preparation will occur in Dr Massias lab Dr. Pizziconi will oversee all mechanical testing studies and provide mentoring and guidance to Mayo PI and a graduate bioengineering student. Massia will oversee cell culture operations and morphological studies. Pizziconi will be the lead for mechanical testing and bioreactor design and operation. The designated Bioengineering graduate student will perform these studies
