Radiation Monitoring Devices (RMD) will work with Arizona State University lead by Dr. Craig Hardgrove for reviewing the research efforts in developing nuclear instruments for planetary science. Dr. Hardgroves participation in the Phase I effort will be to review the effort, providing insight into performance metrics for material selection, which may lead to instrument testing of an engineering unit for flight within the Phase II effort. Dr. Hardgrove shall participate in monthly review meetings and assisting in the developing the phase II research plan.
