Oribital Reef: Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destination Orbital Reef: Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destination During the four-year NASA planning contract, ASU will recruit partners for a university consortium, and negotiate with the scope of the consortium's work, which will include ethical research guidelines, education and public outreach, and consulting to customers for 's planned Orbital Reef space station. Through two annual meetings and communications between them, ASU will lead the consortium through creating the framework by which we will carry out our work. The framework will include the delineation of the work itself as well as the arrangements and policies of the consortium. In addition to the two consortium meetings per year, ASU will periodically visit for face-to-face meetings.
