Neighborhoods Alcohol Outlets and Intimate Partner Violence Neighborhoods, Alcohol Outlets and Intimate Partner Violence Dr. Michael Todd of Arizona State University will work with Dr. Carol Cunradi of the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation to investigate the association between discrepant couple substance use and intimate partner violence (IPV) among participants in the California Community Health Study of Couples. Dr. Todd will conduct analyses of survey data from the Alcohol Outlets& IPV couples dataset, assist with the development of an RSA poster presentation on within-couple discrepant substance use and IPV, and co-author a manuscript on discrepant substance use and IPV. The subcontract covers the period from January 1, 2014 through April 30, 2014.
