Project Details
Description
Statement of Work The ASU group (PI, two graduate students) has taken responsibility for the construction and delivery of one of the Si-sensors systems used in DarkLight for proton detection. We will acquire the sensors, oversee the construction of the attached hardware, and assemble the system. We will carry out tests at ASU of the proton detector and study its performance using cosmic rays and particles from radioactive sources. We will provide data acquisition and analysis capabilities. We will work with the Bates Research and Engineering Center in coordinating and executing the installation of the system inside the DarkLight internal target system.
