Project Details

Description

The primary goal of this project is development of a new set of tools for deriving and identifying optimal designs in situations of great practical relevance. In the context of nonlinear and generalized linear models, the goals of the proposal are (1) the identifi cation of complete classes of designs; (2) the development of equivalence theorems; and (3) the development of efficient algorithms for finding optimal designs. This will be done with a focus on three specific types of design problems: (i) optimal design for correlated data; (ii) optimal design in the presence of multiple objectives; and (iii) optimal design in the presence of multiple
covariates.
