Project Details

Description

Brette Steele and Rachel Hunkler, on behalf of the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University, will collaborate with EdVenture Partners (EVP) and the U.S. Embassy in Paris to facilitate a competition among six university teams to design, implement, and measure the success of a social or digital initiative, product or tool that counters violent extremism (CVE), right-wing extremism, misogyny, online radicalization and recruitment, and racially and ethnically motivated acts of targeted violence and terrorism throughout the United Kingdom. The McCain Institute and EVP will review research and articles relevant to CVE, right-wing extremism, misogyny, online radicalization and recruitment, and racially and ethnically motivated acts of targeted violence and terrorism throughout the UK. The McCain Institute and EVP will host a project kick-off meeting with client points of contact to clarify roles, as well as define project objectives, deliverables, timeline, key performance indicators, and reporting requirements. The McCain Institute and EVP will work directly with client points of contact on the development of program resources.
