Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program (Year 7)

Project: Research project

Description

This proposal comprises the next years funding for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program (FY2016-FY2020). The program, operated in partnership with the U.S. State Department and the Institute of International Education, brings accomplished, often award-winning, mid-career professionals from designated countries to the U.S. for an intensive 10-month academic study and professional experience. In 2010 the Cronkite School became the second of only two schools in the U.S. currently hosting Humphrey Fellows. The Humphrey Fellowship Program at the Cronkite School has three primary goals: foster personal and professional growth for each Fellow; prepare Fellows for meaningful leadership roles in their home nations; and provide opportunities for a rich exchange of information among Fellows, faculty, students, professionals and citizens of Arizona.
