Epitaxial Alkali Antimonide Photocathode Growth and Characterization

Project: Research project

Project Details

1. The Sb and Cs sources provided by Euclid Beamlabs LLC will be mounted on the Alkali-antimonide growth chamber at The Photoemission and Bright Beams lab at ASU.

2. Cs3Sb growth on the lattice matched substrates provided by Euclid Beamlabs LLC will be attempted.

3. The QE spectral response of these films will be measured.

4. Surface roughness and work function variations of the Cs3Sb films grown will be measured using the UHV-AFM/KPFM connected to the growth system.
