Dog Aging Project: Systems Biology Multi-Omic Studies of Healthy Aging in Companion Dogs Dog Aging Project: Systems Biology Multi-Omic Studies of Healthy Aging in Companion Dogs Dr. Snyder-Mackler, in conjunction with Drs. Promislow and Borenstein, will provide oversight of the entire epigenomic core of the Dog Aging Project (DAP core 3), including implementing the research, collaborative plan, and ensuring compliance with US law, USDA, and NIH policies regulating laboratory biosafety, animal care and use, data and facilities. Dr. Snyder-Mackler will be responsible for overseeing the generation and analysis of the epigenomic data, including DNA methylation and chromatin accessibility. Dr. Snyder-Mackler and the other investigators will organize and analyze data and prepare and submit manuscripts. Dr. Snyder-Mackler will take 0.6 person-months of salary each year of the project.
