Does morality depend on stereotypes? How beliefs about men's sexuality shape morality Does morality depend on stereotypes? How beliefs about men's sexuality shape morality Issues about reproductive morality (e.g., abortion, marriage, casual sex) are some of the most divisive issues in society. Recent approaches have suggested that these attitudes reflect an element of self-interestpeople who follow long-term, committed reproductive strategies benefit from and advocate for rules that discourage or behaviors that are seen as facilitating sexual promiscuity. The present proposal seeks to understand the moral underpinnings of potentially controversial displays of public immodesty, including immodest dress and public breastfeeding.
