Description

Development of a student interest driven course "Topics in Sustainable Chemistry" Development of a student interest driven course "Topics in Sustainable Chemistry" Students are energized to address sustainability, but they are not always attracted to traditional chemistry degrees. This project proposes a "Topics in Sustainable Chemistry" course to attract and retain undergraduate students interested in the physical sciences and sustainability. Instead of lectures, this course will utilize active learning and inquiry based laboratories to help students of all levels and academic disciplines approach sustainability research. Funds are sought to engage research students to develop course materials.
