Description
Culturally competent behavioral intervention for diabetes risk reduction Culturally competent behavioral intervention for diabetes risk reduction Dr. Vega-Lpez will provide expertise in nutrition, dietary strategies for glycemic control, dietary assessment, and biomarkers data interpretation, will assist with trial implementation, personnel training regarding dietary guidelines and collection of diet data, and will contribute towards data analysis and interpretation, and manuscript preparation. A graduate student in the Nutrition, Exercise and Wellness, Health Sciences or Nursing programs will work under the mentorship of Dr. Vega-Lpez. This student will be involved in study materials development, study implementation, data collection, data analysis and manuscript preparation from this research study as part of the formative training to obtain a research-based graduate degree.
