CTI iProject - Low-Cost Attendance Reader CTI iProject - Low-Cost Attendance Reader Background: Colleges and Universities have numerous reasons for recording class attendance. However, many of todays solutions are simply too costly for widespread deployment. The market needs a low cost reader that can record attendance based on card reads and pre-configured class schedules. Requirements: Build a low cost class attendance reader: o Fully constructed cost of under $150 o IP-enabled with both Ethernet and Wifi options o Standard 120V AC power or battery power o Magnetic stripe reader o FeliCa, Mifare Classic, and Mifare Desfire reader o Interface to Transact with backend configurable class schedules Skills required: Electrical engineer Software developer Embedded software developer UI developer Industrial Design and/or Mechanical Design Engineer
