Conversations on Religion, Ethics, and ScienceConversations on Faith and Scienceat Arizona State University Conversations on Religion, Ethics, and ScienceConversations on Faith and Scienceat Arizona State University If appropriate funding becomes available from the , will subcontract to Arizona State University (ASU) to organize and host a series of events in 2020, 2021, and 2022 entitled Conversations on Religion, Ethics, and Science (CORES). Prof. Barry G. Ritchie (ASU Department of Physics) will serve as Principal Investigator for the subcontract. Conversations on Religion, Ethics, and Science will be broadly inclusive of many academic disciplines, religious faiths, and philosophical perspectives. He will recruit and work with a local organizing committee drawn from multiple academic units within ASU, as well as an international advisory council of distinguished scholars from ASU and other institutions. These local and international advisory committees will assist in identifying appropriate prominent speakers and suitable venues for the events. The Principal Investigator will work with logistical support groups both on campus, with ACCS, and on the sites selected for those events to provide a high-quality workshop/conference experience for the speakers and participants.
