Collecting Data from Arizona Public Service Photovoltaic Systems in Partnership with Arizona State University Collecting Data from Arizona Public Service Photovoltaic Systems in Partnership with Arizona State University Sandia is developing a reliability predictive model (PVRAM) that requires data from deployed photovoltaic systems. Ultimately the data will reside in a database application called XFRACAS; located at Sandia. XFRACAS is a database package designed and marketed by RELIASOFT Inc. APS is a utility that has over forty photovoltaic systems within their service territory, many of which have logs with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) data. However, APSs data collection process was designed for their internal purposes and the data may not be complete or formatted for Sandias needs. Sandia has held discussions about needs with APS and Arizona State University (ASU) and have identified a path forward as using an ASU graduate student to assist us.
