Collaborative Research: An Integrated Approach to Convex Optimization Algorithms

Anne Gelb will collaborate with the two other PIs on the research investigations discussed in this proposal. She will consult with them via skype quarterly and meet them in person at least once annually, either at one of the home institutions or at a conference of mutual interest. She will also help, either formally or informally, to mentor their graduate students on their dissertation topics. Gelb will also supervise two undergraduate students each year at ASU for research projects pertaining to the proposed investigations.
