C1 Project: RT: Data Converter Designs in Advanced CMOS Technologies CONNECTION ONE - TEXAS INSTRUMENTS C1 Project Acct RT: Data Converter Designs in Advanced CMOS Technologies The objective of this research is to design and test a high speed and high resolution pipeline analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and test circuitry for research applications. The targeted specifications for the ADC are 13 bits of resolution (ENOB of 11 bits) and 650 MSps. Time interleaving, front end sample and hold (SHA), and calibration used to meet aggressive specifications for the ADC. The analog test MUX is designed to perform on-chip evaluation of ADC performance. Deliverables: 1. Circuit schematics 2. Transistor-level simulation results including simulations across different process corners and temperature and supply voltage variation, behavioral models in Matlab/Simulink or Verilog as required. 3. Perform RC extraction on the layout which will be prepared by RidgeTop. 4. Complete ADC and analog test MUX design and tapeout
