BRAINshare: Sharing Data in BRAIN Initiative Studies BRAINshare: Sharing Data in BRAIN Initiative Studies Dr. Cook-Deegan will direct Aim 1 of the grant BRAINshare: Sharing Data in BRAIN Initiative Studies. He will prepare a landscape of data-sharing activities in the BRAIN Initiative, a case study describing models of open science applicable to BRAIN Initiative research, and a case study that entails proprietary data assets. He will devote 10% of his time to this work, will supervise the Aim 1 consultants, will ensure IRB review, and will comply with institutional research policies including annual reporting on conflict of interest, data security, sexual harassment policies. He will regularly interact with the other BRAINshare researchers and staff, including biweekly meetings. He will supervise production of publications emerging from Aim 1 research and may coauthor publications arising from other parts of the BRAINshare project.
