Description
ARPA-E Grid Optimization Challenge 3 Competition Support ARPA-E Grid Optimization Challenge 3 Competition Support As part of the ARPA-E GO Challenge 3 support team, the University of Arizona (Subcontractor) shall provide analysis of the various continuous and discrete optimization problems faced in Challenge 3, analysis of the performance (strengths and weaknesses) of the competing teams, including identifying relevant issues and bottlenecks impacting their performance, and analysis of the utility and difficulty of the datasets used Because the requirements for the competition are in development and will undergo revisions based on testing and input from ARPA-E and the support team, interim deliverables will be set and prioritized by Battelle and ARPA-E in a series of reporting exercises running at intervals associated with the Trial and Final Events. The deliverables for each successive exercise will be periodically refined based on feedback from ARPA-E and other support team members concerning deliverables demonstrated during the preceding exercises.
