Project Details

Description

Arizona MEP (the "Recipient") is a participant in the federally funded Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program (the"MEP Program") operated under the oversight of the Department of Commerce ("DOC") and the National Institute of Standards and Technology ("NIST"). As a Recipient of such funding, Arizona MEPs primary purpose is to assist the states small and medium sized manufacturers (SMEs) with their economic development activities. One method of accomplishing this programmatic objective is for Recipients to identify and pursue with other business partners cooperative efforts that will both benefit and increase the availability of project expertise and training, and the distribution of products and services to SMEs. The intent of this Agreement is to establish a Recipient/Sub-Recipient relationship that will provide the guidelines for Arizona MEP to work collaboratively with ASUP (the"Sub- Recipient") and permit the sharing of resources between the Parties. These collaborative efforts and sharing of resources are identified in and consistent with the Recipients annual or amended operating plan(s) and the business objectives of the Sub-Recipient.
