Al Ghurair Foundation for Education Young Thinkers Program ASUF 30007829 Al Ghurair Foundation for Education Young Thinkers Program The Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program is designed to prepare 9-12th grade Northern Emirati students for college success. The program will center on three student preparation areas: (1)remedial English language support,(2) skills for young adults, and (3) college and career counseling planning. Content will be delivered through a hybrid model utilizing in-person classroom instruction and online modalities via a custom made student platform/portal. The hybrid model will move from 80% face-to-face interactions and 20% digital immersion, to 20% face-to-face interactions and 80% digital immersion in order to scale. The program will start 1,000 students directly served over the three year pilot (1,500 students indirectly served) to 5,000 students directly served (25,000 indirectly served) over the ten year lifespan of the program. A central component of the program is the use of select ASU Global Freshman Academy classes to allow students to practice college level material in English.
