Description

Accelerating Adoption of Adaptive Courseware at Public Research Universities (ASUF 30007188) Accelerating Adoption of Adaptive Courseware at Public Research Universities The grant will be used to accelerate the adoption of adaptive courseware in five academic disciplines as part of our university-wide effort to implement a blended learning model in our general education courses. The disciplines include biology, economics, history, physics and psychology. Units teaching these courses on all four of our campuses will work together in the development process. Each subject area will have a team with at least two faculty members and an instructional designer to develop the curriculum, design the adaptive learning pathways, train colleagues, and support the implementation of the new courses. Based on our experience with this blended learning model, we anticipate that extensive training and support will be needed to prepare faculty members as we expand the scale of the program to reach more students.
