A novel ionizing particle beam fluence and position detector array using the Micromegas technology with multi-coordinate readout A novel ionizing particle beam fluence and position detector array using the Micromegas technology with multi-coordinate readout ASU takes responsibility for the design and mechanical fabrication of the detector structure using the on-campus mechanical shop. ASU will then assemble the entire device upon receiving electronics parts from RDI. ASU will then proceed to test the device electronics and data acquisition system using in-house radioactive sources. ASU will then participate in the testing of the device at an outside accelerator facility, and will contribute to the data analysis and interpretation.
